La Vall de Bianya has an area of 94 km2, of which 7,000 hectares are woodland. Holm Oak is the predominant tree in the Valley, followed by Red Pine and Oak. Beechwoods can also be found, which stand out in autumn for the stunning colour transformation of their leaves.
Although less visible, bordering the area along riverbanks you encounter Poplars, Acacias, Willows and Alders. A rich variety of species that make the Vall de Bianya a truly privileged area, where the changing seasons perfectly reflect the passage of time.
Rambling in the woods to enjoy the peace and quiet, along with the natural fragrances floating in the fresh air are pleasures not to be missed.
